Summer Fun 2012

We had way too much fun this summer with family and friends. Some of the things we did were:

START SMART SOCCER CAMP

Isaac got to do Start Smart Sports, sponsored from Riverton City. He came once a week to learn basic soccer skills and this is him on graduation day.

 THE KID WASH

Marshal built this PVC kid wash to put in the backyard. It is basically a giant sprinkler that we can set up many different ways.

SWIMMING LESSONS

Isaac took swimming lessons and had a great time. He was brave enough to get to the end of the diving board, but needed a little help to jump off. He became more comfortable in the water and can almost float by himself.

HUMANITARIAN CENTER

We were able to put together art kits for the Humanitarian Center. We also got to do a tour of the center and turn our donations in.

Downtown SLC

We spent the day in Downtown Salt Lake City. We went to City Creek Center and the Church History Museum. At the church History museum we learned how to do a traditional dance from Mexico.

Kennecott Copper Mine

We came to see one of the few man made landmarks that can be seen from space. The trucks and tires were huge, and we enjoyed the visitor's center.

We had a busy few weeks from the beginning of June to the end of  July this year. We learned a lot  and had a lot of fun!
