Hee Haw Farms

We went down to Hee Haw Farms in Pleasant Grove. We met up with our cousins Mason, and Kalvin. We had fun with our extended family.

The huge slippery slide. From left to right it is Isaac, Mason and then Kalvin. They all made it down and managed to stay upright.

On to the petting zoo! Three adorable boys with some cute piglets.

One of their favorite places was the corn pit. I am pretty sure they took a good part of that corn pit home in their shoes.

Then on to the Rubber Duckie Derby. I think they each got a turn to win a race. And no trip to the farm would be complete without a ride on the train and a chance to play on some tractors.

Over all they all went home tired and dirty with smiles on their faces.

Touch a Truck

One of our favorite events in the fall is Touch a Truck. There are several different agencies that send trucks and the kids get to climb all over them.

Isaac had two favorite things from this event. He was very excited to paint the car and put his name on it using his favorite colors of green and orange.

The second favorite part of touch a truck was the boon lift. They strap you into the basket and extend it to over 50 feet  high. Marshal and Isaac went up. When he came down he told me, "Mom I could see really, really far!"

And in honor of Grandpa Underwood we had to get a family picture in the UPS truck.

Fun at the Pumpkin Patch

We love our family tradition of going to the pumpkin patch. We each wander through the patch to find our perfect pumpkin. We went to a patch close to our house in Herriman.

Fun in the hay! This boy isn't afraid of anything.

Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off

We started our fun with the Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off at Thanksgiving Point.  Isaac was amazed that these pumpkins were bigger than he is. He asked if we could bring one home to carve and it took a bit of explaining to convince him that we could not fit one of these in our car as they weigh 400+ pounds.
